  • Due to all the setups that need to be completed by this Sunday afternoon, there is a lot of activity out on the respective courses. We’ve had no choice but to limit the tee-off times this week. Herewith a small schedule on where our members would be able to play (30 Nov – 2 Dec);
    – Friday – Firethorn Open early morning only, Bushwillow PM only (one tee start)
    – Saturday – Normal members day, all courses and times open (no carts on Firethorn)
    – Sunday – Bushwillow Open AM only, Firethorn Open all day

  • Please note that the following parking areas have been closed due to the setup – Driving Range, Trailer, Halfway House golf cart parking, please see below for alternative parking until 5 December;
    – Driving Range – Please park in main club parking.
    – Trailer Parking – Please park your vehicle in the left hand lane before entering into main car parking area (please ask Security at gate to assist).
    – Halfway House (carts only) – Make use of grass lawn in front of halfway house. Directional signage has been added.

  • Parking – during the Tournament, from 6 to 9 December, there will be no parking at the Club. Public Park & Ride will be available from Hoërskool Randburg (c/o Malibongwe and Rabie Streets). However, we suggest you consider Uber, as parking will always be a challenge with an event this size.

  • We are nearing the tournament, so we are asking our members very politely to avoid littering, especially the smokers with their cigarette butts. We are finding a lot of butts around the tees and greens.

  • Both courses will be closed from Monday, 3 December – Monday, 10 December. Unfortunately no golf will be allowed on these days, even for those playing sunrise golf.

  • During the week of the SA Open, we have secured reciprocity with the following Clubs: Country Club Johannesburg; Royal Jhb & Kensington; Eye of Africa; Ruimsig; Killarney; Ebotse; Copperleaf; Kyalami; Moddderfontein; Eagle Canyon

  • Member’s Lounge – Members can collect their accreditation arm bands at Reception or the Membership Desk from Saturday, 1 December until Wednesday, 5 December. Please note this is 1 complimentary arm band per member. If you are unable to collect your armband by Wednesday, you can collect it from the Randpark Membership desk at the Welcome Centre (Arend Park from 6 – 9 December). Entrance to the Member’s Lounge (new Sagewood Bar) will not be via the Clubhouse but through the old Redhub Cycling Studio entrance above Halfway House – please follow the directional signboards.
    The privilege for members will only be granted to those who are up to date with their membership subscriptions. No armband means no entry at the clubhouse.

  • Marshals (only 15 more) – We would like to call on our members one last time, we only require another 15 marshals to assist us during the SA Open. It is voluntary, but we will look after you in terms of meals and refreshments.
    Please would you send through your details to golf@randpark.co.za as soon as possible if you wish to be of assistance.
