Martin Whitcher's Golf School

Martin Whitcher and Darren Witter, both PGA Professionals, offer top class tuition to golfers ranging from beginners to tour playing professionals. They have received national acclaim from students at every level, as well as from the PGA of South Africa and leading golf publications. Their programmes are personalized and specifically aimed at each individual’s level of play.

Apart from individual coaching they also run successful clinics. Both men’s and ladies' clinics consist of a one hour lesson per week for a period of eight weeks. There are a maximum of 6 people in each group. The groups are divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced levels of play, with each clinic ending with a nine-hole competition.

Golf Studio

The Golf Studio computer / video linked analysis system was designed in 1989 by Martin Whitcher and a team of computer experts.

How the Golf Studio works – the golfer hits fifteen shots from the swing analyzer which records: club head speed, ball carry, club face angle at impact, path angle, impact point and tempo.

This information is displayed on the monitor ready for recording onto DVD.
